Pallet dimensions and construction
State the nominal length and width, overall height if relevant, material, construction style, and whether an existing drawing or sample controls the specification.
Product weight and load distribution
Describe the product footprint, total and point loads, weight distribution, restraint method, and whether the pallet will be racked, stacked, or handled from specific sides.
Quantity and recurring cadence
Separate one-time quantity from expected weekly or monthly flow. A recurring estimate helps evaluate sourcing and freight without treating a forecast as a guarantee.
Destination and delivery access
Provide the exact ZIP, dock or ground-level access, forklift availability, receiving window, and any site constraints that affect loading or delivery.
Treatment, material, and grade requirements
Identify export destinations, treatment needs, cleanliness rules, acceptable used grade, material restrictions, and customer-specific requirements.
